Day 8….from Canada to the United States
Posted on 06/27 at 01:53 PM.

We finally have internet connection again after spending a day literally hundreds of miles from the nearest town….yes, we were in the middle of nowhere. In fact, Beaver Creek where we spent Friday night, bills itself as the place 300 miles from anywhere. We had a great day and night in Beaver Creek. It was very rustic, with no TV’s or telephones in the rooms. The hotel had a great show called the Beaver Creek Rendevous. It was a cool way to follow the building of the Alaska Highway. A chilly start on Saturday morning, with frost on the rooftops. We are on the way to Fairbanks, and have recently crossed the border back into the United States. Will upload as many pictures as I can now that I have restored internet connection on my Blackberry. All are doing well on the tour, and we are really having a great time!!! Will update this blog again tonight in Fairbanks.
