Day 9…in Fairbanks
Posted on 06/28 at 06:26 AM.

What a cool city this is?  We arrived yesterday (Saturday) afternoon and immediately took a quick tour of Downtown. See some of the pictures in the photo gallery. Saturday was a long day, having traveled from Beaver Creek, Yukon to Fairbanks. The trip seemed longer since we moved our clocks back one hour as we crossed the international Border. I got some great pics of us saying goodbye to Canada, hello USA!!! No more loonies (sp) to find to do laundry. Every trip, long or short, has been great. We continue to get to know our travelers better, and they us. I’m not so sure that’s a good thing!!! (Right, Wisconsin folks). I am actually writing this at 2am Alaska time…that’s 6am Charleston time. The difference between here and there…it doesn’t get dark overnight. Right now, the sun is up, and it looks more like 10am back home!!!
I am going to try and get some sleep somehow, and will update the blog with our festivities Saturday night, and look ahead to today…Sunday.
