We are about to get back on the Norwegian Sun for our trip to Skagway. Really enjoyed Juneau, the State Capitol. We got a chance to see the Capitol building, as well as the Governor’s Mansion. No sign of the Palin’s, but got a chance to see where the kids jump on the trampoline and play. Juneau is very hilly, so a lot of huffin’ and puffin’ going on with the group today. The weather has turned out great….Sunny and in the 50’s. The highlight has been our stop at the World Famous Red Dog Saloon in Downtown Juneau. Yes, we had to sample the “Duck Fart” shot, which is 1/3 Crown, 1/3 Kahlua, 1/3 Bailey’s. With a beer chaser…tasted pretty good. It was a cool place, and of course had to leave with a few souveniers!!! More info to come. Pictures on our gallery.
