We had a great another great day in Canada as our Charleston group continues to experience beautiful sights, in addition to forming new friendships. The highlights of Monday (July 5th) were Bow River Falls, and our tour and lunch at The Banff Springs Hotel. I hope you are getting a chance to see all of the pics we are sending back. You can find them at the bottom of the weather section at counton2.com. I am also posting on the Channel 2 Facebook page, along with Twitter (follow StormTeam2).
We also enjoyed, at the end of the day, a question and answer session with a retired Canadian Royal Mounted Police officer, Sgt. Pat.
His insight was fascinating, and his stories compelling and informative. It was certainly a nice end to our stay in Banff, Alberta.
We are now on to Jasper National Park, the Fairmount Chateau Lake Louise, and the Columbia Icefields…yes, we will be riding on a Glacier!
Stay tuned for our next blog, and keep checking for my pictures of the sights and sounds of Western Canada!
