America’s pastime huh?

I guess I should have known this, but I just always assumed that baseballs of all things would be made in America.

I have a newsflash…they’re not. The official baseball for the South Atlantic League, the league in which the RiverDogs play, is made in China!

From what I understand, most of Rawlings’ operations are based in Asia. Except for the facility in India which is currently producing a new baseball being used in the big leagues!



I think it’s time for the SAL, and Major League Baseball to get with the program…otherwise I vote we take the baseball portion of, “...as American as baseball and apple pie” out of that phrase.
