DTV switch day getting closer

The big switch to digital tv is now just a few weeks away.

If you don’t have cable or satellite tv, and you don’t have a digital tuner in your tv…you will need a digital converter box.

We will shut off our analog signal on Thursday. There will be three separate five minute tests at approximately 7:25 am, 12:25 pm, and 6:25 pm.

I’m going to miss you guys after the big switch. The signal is awful, I don’t plan to waste my time watching tv when the signal drops out as often as this does.

You can’t follow a news story or a tv plot, you miss too much information when the signal drops!

Franko,

Are you guys at full power? Are your towers in awendaw? Same towers as 4,5 and 7?

I leave between MC and GC and I get 4.1, 5.1 and 7.1,2,3 beaming @ plus 90% signal strength.

2.1, 2.2, 24.1 36.1 not so good, in the 20% and loose signal all the time. What gives?
