Good for you Liz. Maybe the next time you want to see a Springsreen concert, you can afford it already. I am not much of a Springsteen fan but I heard it was great.

Thanks for supporting the choice y’all…it was tough, but now I am thankful considering that I am online right now buying books for this semester and the total is over $500.  Now there’s a story, Brad.  Not only has tuition gone up, but the cost of books (as I’m sure you remember) is insane.  Between school, a mortgage, a car payment, and all the other bills that comes along with it, those Springsteen tickets were starting to look pretty frivolous!

Nah Liz, I went to the Hootie show and that was it.  I had my family in town last weekend so I spent the majority of my time with them!  Sorry you didn’t get to go, but you made the right choice!

Good for you Liz!  It is good to see young people taking financial responsibility.  Keeping your debt down now will give you a much better start after you graduate and don’t kid yourself every little bit helps.

My oh my…the Springsteen concert…
I bought 2 general admission tickets as soon as they went on sale.  I LOVE Springsteen and was so very much looking forward to it.  I had general admission tickets to his Rising tour and he held my hand and sang to me a few times.  Alas…I had to sell my tickets the day before the show.  I am a working student putting myself through college and I decided that I should be realistic and pay bills before fun.  It was the worse decision I ever could have made…broke my heart…and I’m pretty dang bitter too!   Did you get to go, Brad?
