Rep. Joe Wilson’s outburst turned part of President Obama’s speech into a session of Parliament.
As soon as it happened, fire shot from the eyes of Speaker of the House, Rep. Nancy Pelosi. YIKES!
House rules forbid that type of an outburst, whereas in Parliament it’s a part of the deal. Sometimes I wish we had more of that type of interaction during political speeches, but only when it’s accepted!
Wilson did apologize for his outburst shortly after the speech.
Big question now is…are we any closer to a deal?
