You never know what you’re going to hear in the newsroom.

Raymond Owens (5:00 producer) is striding through the newsroom past Meryl’s desk.  In the most unassuming voice she asks, “Hey Raymond, know of any place locally where you can donate sperm”?

Needless to say we all started laughing...it’s just not a question you expect to hear from Conant!

The reason for the question...Meryl is working on some stories and one of the things that came up today was the things that people are doing to earn some extra cash. 

We have all heard about college girls donating eggs to get money, or people donating blood plasma. 

We wonder if the same is true for sperm.

How far would you go to get some extra cash?
