What an awkward day of practice down at the College of Charleston.
In one corner, it’s Jermaine Johnson. In the other, it’s the entire team.
Pretty much what I guessed happened in my last blog was what actually happened.
The full story goes, Jermaine Johnson was pretty angry about the loss to the Citadel. He didn’t care to shake any of the Bulldogs hands. Cremins saw this, called him out on it. Words were exchanged and bam! We have a suspension.
Johnson as I learned today is pretty stubborn. Coaches by all accounts are always stubborn. We had a stale mate and in this case, the coach always wins. Jermaine apologized and now he’s back.
You’d think that would be the end of it but judging from the way practice began, I think this team has a way to go before it gets itself in order. Insiders tell me there’s some bad blood from one half of the team to the other.
This team better get together and get together soon. The SoCon is around the corner…will they be ready?
