You read the headline right. The AVP is fine. The AFL is dying.

I had a conversation with a friend the other night who works closely with the AVP. Believe it or not given the tough economic times, it is doing very well. In fact, it has signed all the big name sponsors back for the upcoming tour.

Here’s where things get strange though. The league claims it is doing fine yet Friday, it backed out of being a public company.
