I admit it. In rare instances when I am on the run real quick, I forget to do one very small but very important thing. I’m sure many of you do it too.
I don’t know why I forget to do it. Heck the car is honking at me non stop. “Just snap the metal thing into the plastic thing so it can call it a day.“ Yet someday’s, I zone it out.
I heard someone recently say they don’t buckle up because, “They’re young.“ A pretty dumb thing to say but then again, any excuse for not buckling up is dumb.
Last night I saw 2 dead bodies rolled away. They and four of their friends had been speeding when their car lost control. All 6 were ejected from the car. None were wearing seat belts.
In ironic twist of one-ups-men-ship, tonight 7 people were ejected from their car, only a few hours away from last night crash happened. Again, none were wearing seat belts.
If that’s not a higher power trying to send us all a message, then I don’t know what is.
Put your seat belt on. You’re not too young. You’re not too old. You’re not too anything except dumb unless you do it.
Now back to your regularly scheduled blog.
