Kudos to those that stayed up the other night to watch the Rays game!

What you saw was one full years worth of work come together for a great win.

Sunday the Rays will celebrate the championship with fans at the Carolina Ice Palace. Take a good look at them because it might very well be the last time you see them.

Most minor league teams get broken up after the season anyway. They get called up, get cut, or get traded.

But in the case, there’s a lot more going on that you wouldn’t normally see. Obviously this year’s theme is the economy and the fact of the matter is, ours stinks worse than their locker room following a loss.

A lot of contracts are up this and that’s going to affect things should folks want to resign.

And while our economy is lacking dollars and sense, the European market is looking very good. Sources tell me a lot of people are entertaining offers from across the Atlantic.

Hate to rain on your parade…but that’s just the way it is.
