WELCOME!
Welcome to Mic Check!

Usually when you see me on the news, I try to be right down the middle but here it ‘s all fair game. If I think someone’s going to get the boot, I’ll say it. If a team isn’t doing well and is going down hill fast, I’ll say that too.

This is also your chance to interact with me. So if something is on your mind, let me know and we’ll chat about it.

Snakes on a Plane…and also news 2
Posted on 05/02 at 10:08 PM.

I had a scary moment tonight on the way back from a dinner break.

I found a snake at News 2.

Or more specifically, inside News 2.

It was hanging by our stairwell and I almost picked it up because I thought it was a wire. I leaned in thinking, “Now why would someone put that there?“  Imagine my shock when it moved. It reminded me of a late night experience I had in Syracuse. I was reading a book when I noticed a bird fluttering by my window. I remember thinking, “Now why would a bird be in my apartment?“  Turns out it wasn’t a bird. It was a bat. A big bat. How I got rid of the thing is a story for another day.

Back to the snake.  I ran and got Brooke Katz, our esteemed reporter who happened to be the only one in the building. I also got a ball(A bouncy one, we all grabbed at Wal Mart when we were 5 but our parents never let us get) and threw it at him. It didn’t like that as it stood up and hissed at me. We ran for cover and called pest control.

But when the man arrived, the snake was gone! Thankfully, 25 minutes later, it was found lurking near the studio.

Anyway here is a picture of the critter.
