Alright so here we are, Socon tournament week is here.

The Bulldogs are the one seed. The Cougars are the two.

Not really sure that matters. Both teams will be playing either at home or a home away from home. No matter what, the Citadel was going to get that edge simply based on where the tournament was.

The Cougars maybe the two seed but they actually finished with more overall wins than the Citadel, a fact I have seen a bit overlooked. (The Citadel finished with more conference wins.)

As far as the two squads go, I have been more impressed with the College. I remember talking to Monte Lee at the start of the year and he honestly told me he wasn’t sure how his team would fare this year. That fact they got to 41 wins is a testament to Monte’s ability to get the most out of his players.

I think I see an all Charleston final with the Cougars coming out on top.
Should be a fun week.
