I am always trying something new to improve my health. I am never really concerned about my dress size, but let’s face it, as my daughter gets bigger so has my waistline. So I am now reaching for walnuts instead of corn chips when the urge overtakes me. Walnuts are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which may keep you feeling fuller longer. I read about a study in Austrailia in which people on a low-fat diet ate 8 to 10 walnuts a day. The study participants lost more weight and body fat. They also reduced their insulin levels (that’s the stuff that keeps your fat storage in check).
