Stay safe this 4th of July…

A story that we are airing tonight highlights how dangerous fireworks can be. A Savannah woman tells our sister station, WSPA about how her son lost the sight in his left eye. The fireworks that caused the damage surprised me.

Gov. Sanford’s saga continues…

The travel saga over Gov. Sanford continues to grow more interesting by the minute. I spoke to the Governor's spokesman myself, and he sent me an email saying that the Governor was hiking the Appalachian Trail.

Swimming lessons by law….

State Rep. Wendell Gilliard has introduced a bill that requires most schools in South Carolina to provide swimming lessons. It DOES have some stipulations, but based on the current wording, it appears that almost all school districts in the state would be part of this.

Actor David Carradine found dead in Bangkok. My grandmother met him on the set of "North and South" when it was being filmed in Charleston. He was one of the nicest people she met there.

McMaster set to make MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT about Craigslist

South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster is preparing to announce that the CEO of Craigslist has 10 days to either remove illegal content from the SC portions of the site, or face prosecution.

This week I found out just how powerful Matt Drudge's website really is. He featured my blog post here about SC AG McMaster's plan to go after the CEO of Craigslist on http://www.drudgereport.com. Within minutes, the high volume of traffic shut down my blog.
