I’ve been following the internet “experiment” that former network news foreign coorespondent Mike Boettcher and his son are undertaking for several months now.  Mike left the network news business and stuck out on his own.  While there are a number of people “covering” the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, most of those folks are in and out in a few days/weeks.  Mike and his son have signed up to inbed with the troops for 15 months.  He is covering their journey via video and blog posts online.  Take a look at some of the everyday stories he has covered at their blog, http://blog.newsok.com/afghanistan-iraq/ .
