Awhhhhhh yea! Nothing gets me more pumped that UNC v Dook.

I just found out HBO is doing a special on the history behind the rivalry between UNC and Duke. It’s called “Battle for Tobacco Road” and airs February 23rd.

Let’s just say I’m about to jump out of my skin I’m soooooooooo excited. Most Tar Heels are fanatics. Talk to me for five minutes and you’ll know I take it a few steps further. Like the fact that I only wore UNC shirts to the gym when I first moved to Charleston to strike up converstation with other sports fans and make friends. Or the fact that I have a singing UNC Calendar, stuffed mascot, pennant, and UNC photos all over my desk at work and the list goes on and on and on and on and on….

So one week away from the first UNC v Dook match up and I’ve already set out my UNC blazer to wear that day to work (complete with a UNC charm bracelet of course!) My count down beings to one of the biggest match-ups each year. As said the HBO promo, if you don’t win this match up, the NCAA championship hardly matters.

So for all of your sports fans who appreciates a good rivalry (Heels v Devils, Cocks v Tigers, etc.), check out the video!
